The Last Nash: The Song - feat. Felipe Holmack

I have been toying with the idea of making a new parody song for a while. I've written a Chun-li one, two versions of an Urien themed music (portuguese and english), but everythings seemed to miss... something. After seeing Bonchan's amazing NorCal Regionals performance, I immediately had the idea to write this one, but, not being a singer myself, I had to wait a while until my budy Felipe was free again. Thankfully Bonchan has been keeping himself on the spotlight, so this is still as relevant today as it was back then. This guy really found his game nowadays.

THE LAST NASH - The Song

Back in season 1 there were so many of them
Luffy, NuckleDu, and Joe, to name a few
Infiltration winning everything in sight
But then season 2 came with changes all over and Nash got so nerfed that he’s no longer good

No more cheap wins backdashing all over
V-Trigger was OP but now has been broken
A blocked medium Scythe can cost you a round now
The mighty nerf bat from Capcom did hit ya

And all people say is that Nash now sucks balls
That Guile is the guy to throw Booms all around
Be smart and pick Balrog or Urien as main
If you stick with Nash then don’t bother complain

But at the NorCal Regionals
There was a Japanese that dared to see fit to use him
He was there is a sea of big top tiers
And no one thought he would make so far but Bonchan did

When there’s no Sagat
And Ryu didn’t take him far
Then maybe Nash ain’t so sub-par
At least for Bonchan

Say what you want but Nash isn’t dead
All it takes is a little skill
And if you come back on board the Nash train
He might win Evo again
