Editing Bellarose & The Beast (formerly Gerard combined with Bellarose prequel) has exposed many of my writing weaknesses. The first editor of Gerard was a cheerleader, but not a developmental editor. Also, she ghosted me. I’m learning a lot with the new editor, and I hope I’m becoming more intelligent with my writing.
