A group of scientists has identified at least seven stars that could be surrounded by advanced megastructures known as "Dyson spheres." This theory, proposed by physicist Freeman Dyson in the 1960s, suggests that an advanced civilization could build enormous structures to harvest energy from its star, generating infrared heat detectable from Earth.

The recent study by the Royal Astronomical Society has observed unexplained infrared signals around these stars, located about 1,000 light years from us. Although Professor Janna Levin of Barnard College and Columbia University expresses skepticism about an extraterrestrial origin, she admits that we are in a new era of astronomical discovery.

Despite the use of advanced space telescopes, there is no conclusive evidence about the nature of these phenomena. Could they really be alien megastructures? The search continues.
