Ghost Recon 2 (2004)

In the single-player campaign, the player takes on the role of Ghost Team leader Captain Scott Mitchell; Mitchell is described as a "consummate soldier," having served in several armed conflicts and being able to use weapons from any soldier class, including assault rifles, carbines, submachine guns, sniper rifles, and more. In a few missions, the player is dropped in alone and must complete the assignment without help from the other Ghosts. Such missions provide help in the form of air strikes, which the player can request.
