Dystopic Journal: Moral Clarity

Its seems when it comes to the Russia-Ukraine war, the US government has perfect moral clarity, there's a definite good guy (the attacked) and a definite bad guy (the attacker). When it comes to the ongoing conflict in Israel however, our government loses its moral clarity. Somehow, despite Israel being brutally attacked on Oct 7th by barbarians raping and pillaging throughout the towns along the border with Gaza, it's become unclear which side is the good side, and which is the bad. The side that drives up the civilian casualty rate by using them as human shields is now crying foul for the very deaths they facilitated. The attacker all the sudden, rates some sort of moral equivalency with the attacked.
