Corewell Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids is being honored

The National Blood Clot Alliance is designating the hospital as a NCBA Center of Excellence. Interventional radiologist Dr. Michael Knox is the co-chairman of the hospital's pulmonary embolism response team that was created in 2019 and says they have been working with the NBCA on reaching the nonprofit's criteria for the Center of Excellence. Corewell Health Butterworth Hospital is the first facility and right now the only Center of Excellence.
