Summary:
Many view Christ’s Sermon on the Mount as the end-all, be-all of the doctrine for the Church today. But is that true? Are we to keep the commandments of the Sermon on the Mount? Are we doing it in truth? Perhaps there is an application to this message that contains more than meets the eye. Let’s examine the Sermon on the Mount and its proper application to Israel in Part 2 of this series.

Takeaway:
As stated last week, the Sermon on the Mount has its truest application to Israel’s national salvation. There are certainly spiritual applications to be made, but they must be made in one accord with the Scriptures as written. We cannot apply them willy-nilly. We must examine ourselves, check our doctrine against what Christ gave the Apostle Paul to preach to the Gentile world, the dogs. Salvation today is not the gospel of the kingdom; it is the gospel of the grace of God. It will soon return to Israel’s plan again, so there is little time left. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved today!
