32 Bn Memorial Service 22 May 2022

32 Battalion was one of the most highly decorated units in the SADF. Besides Special Forces, this unit received more medals for bravery than any other. The unit consisted mostly of black soldiers with white leadership (in the beginning) and existed between 1975 and 26 March 1993 when it was disbanded due to political pressure.
