The giant monoliths of yesteryear ruled the plains of Axium long before the Aksumite kingdom staked it's claim. They are the elegant stone columns of architectural brilliance. The silent observers of human history witnessing countless empires go for broke over a foolish pursuit gone unaccomplished. The unique language inscribed along their slim columns have left Archaeologists lost in translating them. They do not speak of past empires delusional thirst for power and dominance, they speak of an enlightened history lost to modern humans.

Yet the question still remains. Who built them and for what purpose?
