Dear Pastor Bob: What do you think about easy-believism? Some say all we need to do is believe the Gospel to be saved. Others say that is way too easy. They argue that the way to Christ is narrow, and that just simply believing the Gospel is taking the wide road to hell. They say even the devil and demons believe but they aren’t going to Heaven. Furthermore, it is said that easy believism results in a license to sin, and that we can just live any way we want and still make it to eternal paradise when we die. Is any of this Biblical?
