Marsha's Kitchen: Thanksgiving Cranberry Chutney

Senator Blackburn's Cranberry Chutney
1 cup water
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 12 oz package fresh cranberries
1 cup peeled apples
1/4 teaspoon ginger
1/4 teaspoon all spice
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Dash of cloves
Directions:
Combine water, sugar, vinegar and lemon juice in a pot or large skillet.
Bring mixture to a boil.
Immediately add the cranberries and apples.
Lower the heat to a simmer and cook for 15 minutes.
Add spices and cook for 5 additional minutes.
