Mormons Are Insulted By Being Called Mormons (Contrary To The Recent Past). Why?

Since October 8th, 2018, Mormon leadership decided that the church members shouldn't be called "Mormons" anymore. According to them, they shouldn't even be called "LDS". Instead, they want to either be called members of (entire church name which is a mouthful) or "Church of Christ". Well, no Christian who has any knowledge of what Mormonism teaches will ever call them the church of Christ, but what is even more interesting, is that only a few years ago the Mormon church launched the "I'm a Mormon" television advertising campaign. This is how "progressive revelation" works and considering that their current president, Russel M. Nelson, is currently 99 year old and his birthday is 9/9/1924 (he'll be 100 in 2024 unless he dies first), the Saints better start gearing up for their new President/Prophet and more doctrinal changes!
