I often think that it is because humans don't care about issues such as this, that the humans responsible for it in their corporate castles are therefore going to also get away with impoverishing the once-wealthy world. They already are given the lack of care already shown for lockdown victims and vaccine injury victims. It seems perfectly apparent that they knew in 2020, they would get away with it, as long as enough fear could be ramped up amongst the lowly masses.
