Why the Detox from Lyme is Worse than the Disease

For anyone recovering from Lyme disease, it’s often the case that the detox process is worse than the actual disease. This condition is often referred to as a Herxheimer Reaction, a killing off of bacteria that releases toxins into the bloodstream. Though patients experience varying levels of a Herx, it can range from nonexistent to potentially fatal.
