Randy Rhoads was an iconic American guitarist who left an indelible mark on the world of rock and heavy metal. Born on December 6, 1956, in Santa Monica, California, Randy's passion for music manifested at a young age. He grew up in a musically inclined family, with his mother, Delores being a classically trained pianist. It was under her guidance that Randy began his journey into the world of music.

In the mid-1970s, Randy Rhoads joined a local band called Quiet Riot, which would go on to achieve moderate success. However, it was his partnership with Ozzy Osbourne that catapulted him into the spotlight. In 1979, Randy auditioned for Ozzy Osbourne's newly formed solo band and was chosen as the lead guitarist.
