This piece is about the weather. The Pacific Northwest gets tons of rain and we do get days where it is windy all day.

Wind is the subject of this piece. It tells the story of a storm that grows out of nowhere in just a few moments. And in those moments the peace is disturbed. Gradually things return to normal, as the music ends with a quiet and solemn victory.
