Scraps of red, white or blue doggie-themed fabric (fat quarter in size)
Various patriotic dog ribbons in stars & stripes paw prints, red paw prints, puppies, etc.
Fabric glue or hot glue

Stars stencil
1/4 in wood dowel rod
Scissors
White or brown jute string
