Are You Ready To Meet Your Maker?

I'm sure you've heard the expression, "Are Your Ready To Meet Your Maker?" It's usually said when a person is near death. Does this question make any sort of sense? What does it take for a person to "be ready" for this meeting? Is it even biblically accurate?
