Volt Catfish was formerly a kind and playful soul, having a bit of a goofy side. Upon going Maverick, he became a gluttonous guzzler of electricity who brazenly challenged the Maverick Hunters to dare stopping him. He wreaked havoc at the Power Control Center and siphoned the power off to Dr. Doppler's research facility. He issued a challenge daring anyone to try to stop him.
