Gaza's humanitarian crisis is worsening by the day. Efforts to bring food, medicine and fuel into the strip continue to face hurdles and delays. Only a handful of aid trucks have entered Gaza in recent weeks.

The US built a temporary pier to enable aid to be delivered by sea but it has largely failed.
