Raring To GO!

These sled dogs in Skagway, Alaska, are excited about their summer exercise to prepare them for the winter races. These carts with people weigh more than their usual sleds so it builds up their stamina and endurance for the season to come as they do a one mile track with a rest halfway through. They just want to go again.

We got to ride in one of these carts. These dogs are SO fast and the ride was exhilarating!

These dogs are bred to do this, and you can see the sheer excitement before the musher gives them the go ahead. They can't WAIT!
