Best 1/18 Maisto Yet?? 1977 Trans Am Bandit Style!

You all know I’m a very thrifty guy. And in a way, if I want to collect, I have to be. I’m not rich, so I’ll do projects and save where I can hunting etc. so naturally, when I heard Maisto was making a Sam’s Club Exclusive 1/18 that closely resembles the Trans Am from Smokey And The Bandit, at least from a distance, it got my attention. You see, because if it’s good enough to pass for the smoky and the bandit car as it is or with little alterations, it’s a big deal. Because now for a 1/18 Bandit 1 car, your main two choices are the ERTL/ American Muscle version from 2002, or the Greenlight Artisan version from a couple/few years ago. Selection was very limited, and not cheap! Am ERTL Bandit in box can set you back $200-250 CAD if you don’t shop around before you pull the trigger. So if a smoky and the bandit car, or any movie car for that matter can be made from a budget brand, out of the box or with little alteration, I want to know! So let’s get into this!
