Vegetarian Rat Builds a Nest? Plus How To *SAFELY* Clean your A24 Trap

Another rat invades the vegetable garden! Nicknamed the "Vegetarian Rat" because it kept grabbing leaves from the pole beans we planted. I assume to build a nest, but I never found one. I tried a number of different positions and locations for the trap including horizontal.

I even tried putting tomatoes in the trap which Veg Rat promptly ate but didn't trigger trap! But I didn’t give up!
