The Parties NEVER Switched.

There was no Party Switch starting in 1964. Out of 1,500+ Democratic politicians in the United States at the time, just a dozen switched parties, and Socialism and Communism were the stated reasons, NOT racism, and not Civil Rights. That's it. That's the "Big Switch" ! Less than 1% (0.8%) of Dixiecrats switched parties after the passage of the Civil Rights Act in 1964.
