For me I’ve noticed the tipping point is two consecutive “poor decisions”.
Skip two workouts and I’m setting myself up for the mental demons…
Eat two consecutive bad meals and I’m one doughnut away from a food bender…
Two drinks might as well be four… none is better than one in my opinion.
Bad decisions compound quickly and can lead to a total derailment of personal goals.
So for me it’s the rule of two.
If I want to enjoy a great meal dessert and all it comes with a workout.
If I skip a workout it comes with disciplined eating or fasting.
There’s never a full “phuck-it” mode because that’s too close to chaos and quick way to turning a weekend into a habit.
If you made a poor decision, just do the next right thing.
Get back on course quickly string together some wins and watch how you start winning.
