Combat footage from SBU liberation of the Snake island

The second anniversary of the release of Zmiiny: the SBU showed unique footage of the battles on the island

In June 2022, special forces of the Central Security Service "A" of the SBU, together with their comrades-in-arms from the Military Intelligence Service of Ukraine and the Armed Forces of Ukraine, conducted a multi-stage operation to liberate the island from Russian occupation.

The release of Zmiiny unblocked the way to the Ukrainian Danube ports of Izmail, Reni and Ust-Dunaisk. The feat of the SBU soldiers and comrades from other units of the Security and Defense Forces laid the foundation for the further expulsion of the enemy from the Black Sea.
