DIY Shampoo - From the Garden

Today on Make it Homestead, Marti is replacing commercial shampoo with a homesteadmade herbal wash. Many of the herbs and flowers that we grow contain compounds that are soothing to the skin. Some of those compounds complement the scalp's natural healing and restoration. The herbs and flowers are made into a concentrated tea before adding a small amount of homemade castile soap to improve its cleansing properties.
