"But Some Will Believe", (Acts 17:16-34), 2024-06-30, Longbranch Community Church

In part 8 of 9 of LCC’s series on evangelism, Pastor Sean addresses the manner in which Paul addressed a culture that knew essentially nothing about God. Sean broke it down as follows:
1) Keep your goggles on / Stay on mission.
2) Take the initiative.
3) Make the resurrection the hinge point of your evangelistic outreach.
4) Point out where your people have missed the point.
5) In order to be effective, one “must” bring up repentance & judgement.

Sean closed by emphasizing that it is God who opens eyes and hearts to the truth of the gospel; God alone is sovereign where salvation is concerned.
