Visual Order and the Third Dimension -205
1 year ago
9
This focuses on three queries surrounding the idea of visual order as a way of organizing a painting but also clarifies the benefits it provides in establishing the look of a three dimensional sense. And how the two aren’t the same.
In Response to David W, P, and Jocko
QUESTION: My question, which can be used for next time, is, can you talk about the use of Black as a colour/pigment... I'm guessing the Boston school used Ivory Black, or a mixture of pigents to make shades. Does the use of this also impact on the visual order too?
