Exodus 36:1-37:29, The Jews Build the Tabernacle – Part 1

In this Part 1 of Pastor Kevin’s two-part teaching on God’s instructions for building the tabernacle contained in Exodus 36 and 37, we look at the construction of the tabernacle itself and the Ark of the Covenant, Table of Showbread, the Lampstand, and the Altar of Incense, contained therein. Why should Christians today care about these detailed instructions for a building constructed more than 3,500 years ago, under the Old Testament? Pastor Kevin draws from other passages in both the Old and New Testament to show how every detail regarding the tabernacle pointed to Jesus and the New Covenant. “…who serve the copy and shadow of the heavenly things, as Moses was divinely instructed when he was about to make the tabernacle. For He said, “See that you make all things according to the pattern shown you on the mountain” (Hebrews 8:5, NKJV).
