Japanese Gamers DEMAND Ubisoft Pull Assassin’s Creed Shadows

Ubisoft has been in a lot of hot water with gamers since the reveal of Assassin’s Creed Shadows, but now Japanese gamers are calling out the developers and demanding they pull the game.

Much of the criticism for the first entry in the franchise set in Japan has to do with the historical revisionism where real life historical figure, Yasuke, is being incorrectly portrayed as a black samurai. Japanese gamers find this portrayal disrespectful to their culture and history.
