However, I needed a more effective solution, especially since cheaper options I've used in the past didn't last long—often needing reapplication within a year.

The Meguiar's heavy-duty kit, which includes scouring pads, a cleaning solution, and a spray, proved comprehensive for restoring clarity. The application process involved cleaning and drying the headlights thoroughly before applying the cleaning solution. It was crucial to mask around the headlights to prevent overspray and ensure a clean finish.

Applying the headlight coating required a careful technique to ensure even coverage and proper drying and curing times. Despite minor overspray issues, I was satisfied with the longevity and effectiveness of the Meguiar's kit in restoring my headlights to a clear and polished state. This process provided a noticeable improvement over previous methods, addressing oxidation and enhancing visibility while offering a straightforward application suitable for annual maintenance.

I let the first coat dry for three to five minutes before applying a second coat to fully seal the lens. The coating would be dry to the touch in three to five minutes and fully cured within 24 hours, so I avoided exposing it to water during this period.

Despite unexpected rain today, I managed to complete the process. Overall, I'm satisfied with the results, despite minor overspray due to windy conditions. The headlights now look significantly better than before.
