Fred chats with Congressional Candidate Emily Busch who is taking on MAGA superstar John James in Michigan’s 10th district. Emily’s journey to politics started in the terror of one of our monstrous school shootings. On November 30, 2021, Emily Busch’s teenage son ran for his life from a school shooter. Emily’s son, Andrew, was in music class at Oxford High School that day when a 15-year-old with a gun opened fire on his classmates in the hallway, killing four and wounding seven. Andrew's teacher, a hero, hid students in an empty room before rushing them out a back door to safety. Galvanized to protect other communities from similar trauma, Emily knew she had to take action. Emily is running for Congress to keep our kids safe, protect our rights, and lower costs for Michigan families.
