Let's Talk About The "Book of Abraham" - Mormons?

First published in 1842 and canonized as scripture in the Pearl of Great price in 1880, this is a supposed translation started by Joseph Smith Jr. using Egyptian papyri. Once people were able to read Egyptian hieroglyphics, it was soon to discovered that the "Book of Abraham" was just Egyptian burial rites. However, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints still expects it's followers to believe it through faith. Where is the humility? Is there any Mormon willing to discuss this? They're quite eager to attack the bible despite the mountains of evidence for it, yet they seem quite unwilling to defend their own "scripture." Christians and Mormons are welcome to join the call.
