I needed a new mattress for a spare bed and I spotted this R780 single bed mattress at Checkers Hyper. Will it do the trick? R780 is a lot of money but mattresses from other places are well over R1,000 so this is the cheapest I could find that is still a mattress and not just a sponge sown into fabric.
