All Things Spiritual -Walls of Jericho

In Joshua 6:17, the city of Jericho is to be accursed and all its inhabitants are to be consecrated to the LORD. Only Rahab the harlot will live in the house, as she hid the messengers sent to spy out Jericho. The people shouted and the wall fell down, and they took the city. They destroyed all living things, including Rahab and her family. Joshua instructed the spies to bring Rahab and her family to the harlot's house, and they burned the city with fire. Only the silver, gold, and brass and iron vessels were put into the treasury of the LORD's house. Rahab and her family remained in Israel, as she hid the messengers sent to spy out Jericho. Joshua advised the man to build the city in his firstborn and youngest son, and the LORD was with him. The people followed the orders and were to be devoted to God, as the first and worst of all cities of Canaan.
