How to Crochet Reusable Tampons

Periods are taboo, not often discussed, and some find it gross. But, its a reality for women of age. Learning how to manage it is essential. Crocheting my own tampons is healthier, saves money, and puts me in control of what goes into my body. I tried to make this as simple as possible so even someone who has never crocheted can make one too.

Crochet Tampon Pattern:
chain 9 stitches
single crochet about 13 rows (or about 2 inches)
chain 2 and then double crochet twice in same stitch
crochet on string on opposite side
roll as tight as possible starting from side with string
sew together and cut ends
