What is a carbon footprint and why has the US reduced theirs compared to others?

In this video we describe what a carbon footprint is and what goes in to determining it. We discuss what our footprint is and what the world average as well as countries like the US and China. Our footprint has gone down due to reduced coal use for electricity while China's footprint is increasing also due to coal.
