In 2016, a #Danish teenager successfully fended off an attempted rapist outside a #illegalmigrant encampment in #Sonderborg . It is illegal to use #pepperspray in Denmark , so the #teenage girl was set to face charges. It was likely she faced a 500 #Krone (£50) fine
Local police spokesman #KnudKirsten told TV Syd: 'It is illegal to possess and use pepper spray, so she will likely to be charged for that.'
The man who attacked the girl fled from the scene and has not yet been charged. It is unclear if the man was an asylum seeker or refugee. In the wake of this attack, Danish clubs such as #BuddyHolly initiated language requirements for entry. The Denmark #Parliament also passed laws enabling the seizure of all migrant assets save for their #weddingring s , and that migrants had to wait 3 years before bringing over their families. The result? A decline in Asian immigration and a rise in migration from #Poland and #Ukraine .
