Which color is the color ‘non grata’? When, if ever does the impressionist falsify colors? These questions are discussed with a view to helping one understand the arrogation of the ‘artistic decision’ over truth and beauty.

QUESTION: Paul, a fairly simple question, i've heard a lot of landscape painters reducing the intensity of their greens particularly yellow green as they seem to dominate the picture. I've heard commercially pictures with intense yellow greens dont sell as well also. Would you reduce the chroma of greens in a landscape?
