On Thursday November 7th 1991 NBA star Magic Johnson announced to the world that he was HIV positive.
This was an automatic death sentence
However
Magic Johnson did not appear sick
And later on became the center piece of a multi billion dollar charity foundation that ultimately was responsible for the gentrification of Harlem and Washington heights area of Manhattan
