She says the only reason why Trump won the debate is because “he practiced his lies for two or three years already.”

It gets worse. Behar claims Biden was “trying so hard to tell the truth” when it turns out that he lied at least eight times on stage:

1. Biden claimed the unemployment rate was 15% when he took office. It was actually 6.4% in January 2021.

2. Biden stated there was no inflation when he took office. Inflation was already present, and subsequent increases were influenced by the pandemic and geopolitical events​.

3. Biden said Trump wanted to get rid of the ACA again. Trump had shifted his position to improving rather than terminating it​.

4. Biden claimed his administration capped insulin costs for Medicare at $35. The idea originated from Eli Lilly in 2019​.

5. Biden referenced Trump suggesting injecting bleach to treat COVID-19, which was a mischaracterization of Trump’s speculative remarks about disinfectants​​.

6. Biden accused Trump of decreasing oil production. In fact, oil production increased during Trump’s term, although the pandemic affected output​.

7. Biden claimed Trump allowed China to dominate economically. Trump had imposed significant tariffs on Chinese goods, many of which Biden kept in place​​.

8. Biden claimed Trump’s administration had the worst environmental record. However, greenhouse gas emissions fell during Trump’s term​.
