Roundtable Discussion: The U.S. Fails to Protect Migrant Children from Trafficking and Abuse

U.S. Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa.), along with U.S. Sens. Ron Johnson (R-Wis) and Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-La.) will host a roundtable entitled: “The Exploitation Crisis: How the U.S. Government is Failing to Protect Migrant Children from Trafficking and Abuse.”

The roundtable will provide oversight to the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS)’s Unaccompanied Children (UC) program, which has allowed thousands of vulnerable migrant kids to be lost or handed over to potential criminals. Immediately following the roundtable, the federal agency whistleblowers testifying at the Senate will participate in a press conference sponsored by America’s Future at the National Press Club.
