Detroit will have a franchise in BIG3 basketball in 2025.

GameAbove Sports, led by founder and chairman Keith Stone, has lined up the rights to a team in the three-on-three basketball league that is in its seventh season. Stone is joined by NBA Hall of Famer and BIG3 coach George "The Iceman" Gervin, Super Bowl champion T.J. Lang, and co-founder of Born in Detroit apparel Anthony Tomey with the Detroit franchise.
