The Hexagon Elevator! Odd Montgomery Kone Hydraulic Elevator - 40 New York Avenue (Oak Ridge, TN)

Right next door to the US Soft Touch is this weird Montgomery Kone install. It features a super weird cab design with the main focus being warm and cool colors and a ton of hexagons. Hence my nickname for this elevator being "The Hexagon Elevator."

Minus the unusual but pretty cool cab redesign, it also has a replacement CE floor indicator, replaced lantern lights, and a different chime, likely being a Monitor chime. What an unusual discovery, not even mentioning the fact they decided to go with two different elevator company between this building and the next door one. (the US Soft Touch seen in the prior)
