Kevin Sweefarend and Majoor Blaffinski build the submarine they have dubbed Die Verkenner or The Discoverer. Quite the ambitious project, but they manage to do it just splendidly. Afterwards they offload it at the river, where they will wait for good rains and the river will be in flood and they can go on a journey to the ocean.
