☆ This is an unedited version of a Rocket League gameplay at level 1000. During the game, you will come across the following martial arts techniques. Let me remind you that if you Game@Ware, you can apply these techniques in any game or situation you encounter in real life.

- Always fall on a technique / stance (kamae*). Every move must be adapted to become the preparation for the following technique. You should never waste time in “getting up.”
- Always keep your eyes on the opponent, even when you’re on your back. In Rocket League, this can be done by constantly changing the camera view, where your opponent is essentially the ball. This leads us to the next point.
- Don’t waste your time getting emotionally involved with others or with what they may say. You will lose your focus, and if you start overthinking, you will delay your reflexive response.
- Rotation is key in Rocket League, though there are many opinions on the subject. I personally think that rotation means: (1) keep moving with the flow and energy of the movement, (2) keep track of your teammates by constantly maintaining a “triangle” between their positions and yours—never stay still, and (3) if your rotation is good and you’re constantly moving, you shouldn’t crash into anyone on your team. Try to avoid this because it is really annoying!
- Keep people pissed, distracted, or confused to use their emotions to your advantage to score. Personally, I like to “be everywhere and nowhere at the same time,” but this is just one style of gaming, and they’re all fine as long as you’re aware of their effect on people.
- Make people feel good by giving them compliments and acknowledging their goals, so they become empowered and want to fight at your side. Ignore their mistakes unless you think they’re doing it on purpose. Then, I like to hit them until they feel ashamed and leave. This is also one game-style, but they’re all fine as long as you’re @ware.

* Note: The word "kamae" is a Japanese term used in many martial arts. "Kamae" (構え) translates to "posture," "stance," or "ready position." It refers to the physical and mental stance or attitude a practitioner takes in preparation for action.

In martial arts, kamae is crucial as it involves not only the positioning of the body but also the readiness and focus of the mind, ensuring that the practitioner is prepared to react swiftly and effectively to an opponent's movements. Different martial arts styles may have various forms of kamae, each suited to the techniques and strategies of that particular art.
