Early Revolutionary Music: Castro – Allende – Velasco

Before the Three Giants of the early 80s (Cuba, Grenada, and Nicaragua), there was the Big Three of the early 70s: Fidel Castro (Cuba), Salvador Allende (Chile), and Juan Velasco Alvarado (Peru). Unfortunately the latter two were overthrown is coups, but Castro and Cuba continued to be a beacon for the peoples of Latin America.
