Day 3- The long awaited HOMICIDE TRIAL of Alec Baldwin.

BACKGROUND:
The State of New Mexico charged Alec Baldwin with involuntary manslaughter of Halyna Hutchens. In this context, involuntary manslaughter occur if a person is engaging in a lawful act but unintentionally kills someone by being negligent or not exercising due care. Involuntary manslaughter is classified as a fourth-degree felony with sentencing up to 18 months in prison and probation.

WHAT HAPPENED YESTERDAY:
Crime Scene Technician Marissa Poppell faced cross-examination and re-direct MOST of day. Defense tried pointing fingers at Prop Supplier Seth Kenney as the supplier of live ammo on set. State tried pointing attention away from Kenney. The Judge ruled that Baldwin's interview with George Stephanopoulos as well as several other interviews will be admitted without redaction. A devastating blow for the defense. Lead Investigator Alexandria Hancock took the stand.

WHAT TO EXPECT:
Hancock will certainly face lengthy cross from the Defense. State may call Seth Kenney as their next witness

TRIAL LENGTH:
The Court informed potential jurors they should anticipate a trial in excess of one week.
