CBR Speedway Night Race 7/6/24 “one man down”

This was round 4 of Colton’s Pro Cart Series in Baileys Harbor, Wisconsin. This is the small track it’s very fun but a little hectic, just pinch it to the floor and hang on. My granddaughter said to my wife “Buppa is the only one smiling”. These carts are all set up the same they all run 18mph maximum, are left wheel drive, same exact gearing same engines, knobby front tires and slick rears. What a head rush. I show you all four views, one camera on my head, one camera on my right side, one camera in the rear, and the main camera for the entire full view. Racers are myself Ricky Hembel #11, Colton Berns #307, Sam Hanson #12, Tyler Anthony #25, Ethan Rouer #65. At 2:41 into this video Ethan gets his hand smashed what looks like between his left nerf bar and my rear wheel, this is very unfortunate, the last thing we want to see is someone getting injured, but that is all part of the racing experience, you can be as safe as possible and still something can happen. In this race Colton wins completing 20 laps, he was the only one who never spun, Sam got second with 18 laps, Ethan completed 17 laps and would have had third place if he’d completed ½ lap more as he was in front of me but never crossed the checkered flag, but the pain in his fingers was just too much. I went past Ethan and got third place, with Tyler in fourth and Ethan rounding out the field for fifth.
